Real Work, Not a Show. DexForce Brings Deployment Solutions Across Multiple Scenarios to the World Robot Conference

On August 19, the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC 2026) officially opened at the Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing E-Town. Held under the theme “Human-Robot Symbiosis, Supply-Demand Integration”, the conference marked the transition of the industry from technology-driven development to supply-demand synergized development — an entirely new stage.

DexForce Technology has appeared at the World Robot Conference for two consecutive years. This year, DexForce exhibited a range of robot solutions built for industrial manufacturing, retail, commercial services, and other scenarios, drawing a large audience with deployment capabilities summed up as “no showmanship — real work”. In the first three days, the booth averaged 2,000 visits per day.

01 Partnering with Lens Technology: humanoid robots on factory quality inspection — a real industrial-line solution

The smart terminal quality-inspection line uses two DexForce W1 Pro humanoid robots working in coordination on dynamic tracking, box packing and unpacking, and inspection loading and unloading. Notably, this inspection task originates from a real industrial scenario jointly developed by DexForce Technology and Lens Technology. The task requires the robots to continuously sense the state of the conveyor and workpieces, position and operate with precision in a dynamic environment, and stay coordinated with the other robot and the inspection equipment — a concentrated test of operational accuracy, running stability, and continuous operation capability that vividly demonstrates the mature ability of DexForce humanoid robots to sustain real industrial production.

DexForce Technology and Lens Technology have established an in-depth strategic partnership covering robotic applications and manufacturing. Guided by real factory needs, the two sides keep advancing product iteration and large-scale deployment, jointly driving the deployment of embodied AI in industrial scenarios.

02 Scan-and-sort robot: autonomous operation for supermarkets

The autonomous scan-and-sort robot for retail endpoints received a comprehensive upgrade at this World Robot Conference (WRC). Building on its existing capability with bottled products, it now adds recognition and grasping of bagged and flexible-packaged goods, further matching the multi-category, non-standardized needs of supermarket operations.

When items are toppled, oddly oriented, or differently colored, the robot recognizes their state, autonomously adjusts its grasping strategy, and completes grasping, scanning, and sorting. Compared with traditional automation locked into fixed routines, the system can handle goods of varying shapes and adapts far better to product variation and complex environments.

Combining dual-arm coordination, multi-view perception, world models, and generalizable grasping, the solution brings supermarkets a more flexible, less labor-dependent approach to automated scanning and sorting.

03 Self-developed simulation engine DexVerse™ adds an immersive simulation teleoperation experience

After its first appearance at WAIC 2026, DexForce Technology once again presented in full the complete core capabilities of its self-developed DexVerse generative simulation engine, adding a new VR simulation teleoperation experience to round out its human-robot interaction offering.

Through VR interaction, visitors could teleoperate the robot immersively, trying interactive tasks such as toppling dominoes and scooping popcorn. In R&D and deployment, the system serves for solution validation, operation training, and data collection. Without occupying a real robot, teams can verify reachability, operating procedures, and physical interaction effects in advance — cutting wear on equipment and workpieces and avoiding repeated trial and error on site.

To date, training on such simulation data has been applied to more than 1,500 industrial intelligence projects, accumulating over 200TB of high-quality robot data used for industrial tasks such as flexible manipulation, precision assembly, cable plugging and unplugging, and complex contact.

04 Serving food and playing chess — robots have entered diverse scenarios

In commercial services, another DexForce W1 Pro humanoid robot “worked two jobs”, continuously serving both ice cream and popcorn. The W1 Pro fuses multi-source sensor data and continuously understands the environment and task goals through its embodied model, improving environmental adaptation and exception handling across extended service runs.

The solution can be deployed as a standard offering in unmanned retail settings such as malls, exhibition venues, and cultural tourism sites, helping stores cut staffed hours with a flexible, intelligent upgrade path that optimizes labor input. DexForce Technology now works with operators across the country to run 15+ commercial service kiosks at scenic and commercial destinations including Elephant Trunk Hill in Guilin, West Street in Yangshuo, Tunxi Old Street in Huangshan, Fantawild Xuzhou, K11 in Shenzhen, and Star River COCO PARK in Longgang, Shenzhen.

The W1 Pro chess robot played matches with on-site visitors, calmly taking on all comers.

The packed booth drew coverage from China Media Group (CMG), the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), and Qatar-based Al Jazeera, among other mainstream media from home and abroad.

While most industry solutions remain at the demo stage, DexForce Technology delivers robot scenarios that are truly deployed — real productivity that industries can implement and replicate at scale.

The World Robot Conference runs through August 23. DexForce Technology welcomes manufacturing partners, researchers, industry peers, and visitors to its booth for a close-up experience of its fully self-developed embodied AI solutions — and to explore new directions for scaling embodied AI deployment.
